Personalizing Messages to Leads
- Identify the lead to message and open the appropriate communication platform (email, text message, etc).
- Determine the type of personalization needed (e.g. "first name", "day of the week", "office information", "appointment details", etc).
- Use the appropriate merge field tag to add the personalization to the message.
- To address the lead by their "first name", use the tag for "first name".
- To add the "day of the week", use the tag for "day of the week, extended English".
- To add "office information", click on the tag and select "account", then "full address" to insert the office address.
- To add the "office email address", select "account", then "email". Note that this may add an extra space in the message.
- To add the lead's "phone number", use the appropriate merge field tag and incorporate it into the message.
- To add "appointment details" such as start date and start time, use the appropriate merge field tag and incorporate it into the message.
- Once all personalizations have been added, send the message. The system will automatically grab the lead's information and insert it into the message.
Additional Notes
- Always ensure that the merge field tag is correctly spelled and formatted to avoid errors.
- Be mindful of any extra spaces added when using certain merge field tags.
- Merge fields save time and ensure that the message is personalized for each lead.
- Experiment with different personalization techniques to find what works best for your business.
